After several months of work in the studio, we've now completed our large range of men's and ladies leather coats and jackets. All our new coats and jackets are now available for sale on our website. New Stocks Arrive

Just before the weekend, we received a rather large consignment of designer clothes (both mens & womens). The job of processing new stock is not an easy or a quick one. All stocks needed to be counted in and coded up. We can then log them into our database for tracking purposes.

Once we have logged our goods inward, the process of photography begins. On Sunday we had two female models in our offices to take pictures of some of our new stocks. We photographed 25 new women's leather jackets, which are bound to be popular - the girls modelling them really liked them. We also photographed new stocks from O'Neil, Animal, Jackpot, Inwear plus some other popular brands.

With over 250 pictures taken, the next step is to chose which ones we want to use, edit them into a format suitable for the web, write descriptions and get them on sale on our website. Lot's of hard work ahead.

What to Do with Odd Items Left Over

Running an E-commerce business can be labour intensive. In our kind of business, we often buy in huge job lots of clothing from all kinds of sources. Sometimes we find ourselves left with all sorts of oddments. They could be samples or sometimes when we buy from liquidation or surplus from shops, we can find ourselves with products which are left over in just single items. It this case, it isn't cost effective for time in the studio, photographing on models and then editing the picture size, colour and background on the computer. All to sell just one item.

We had been at a bit of a loss what to do with the oddments that we collect like this, and so we decided to give Ebay a try. We have put 20 of our left over items together on EBAY as a wholesale job lot. I'm sure that these will be of interest to Ebayers, market traders, or shop owners. In our first wholesale auction we've placed a job lot of 20 items of ladies clothing. Brands such as French Connection, Sonetti, Great Plains, O'Neil, Claire DK, Inwear and White Stuff should help the lot to sell. We started the auction at 1p, and the lot has over £800 in RRP value.
